Our focus is on teaching your child new skills in order to address any deficits in learners with developmental disabilities. Our agency uses comprehensive ABA programs that integrate and evaluate varied instructional approaches. These may include some or all of the following methods:
- Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT) – ABA treatment model which targets behavior that, when learned, produces variations in other untrained behaviors.
- Incidental Teaching – An evidenced-based method that involves creating an environment in which your child’s interests are naturally cultivated and nurtured by following the child’s lead, allowing one to capture an initiation in a natural environment.
- Discrete Trail Training (DTT) – A method often used within ABA and one part of a complete program to help increase motivation and learning through short and manageable trials to maximize success.
Every program is focused on age-appropriate areas of development including behavior, language, communication, social skills and self-help. We want to foster competency and independence in your child so they can generalize his/her skills to the natural environments of home, school and community.
