Jennifer Sotodeh, M.A., M.S., BCBA
Executive Director
Jennifer is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, specializing in Applied Behavioral Analysis and developmental disabilities. Prior to starting B.I.G. Solutions, Jennifer worked as a Clinical Development Specialist for a Non-Public Agency in the Los Angeles area. Jennifer has her Master’s degree in Education, and a second Master’s degree in School Psychology from National University. Her Bachelor’s degree is in Psychology from Biola University. She has spent over a decade working with children and adults on the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in their homes, schools, communities and group residential settings.
Prior to her work with Non-Public Agencies, Jenn provided school psychology services to elementary and high school children in the San Juan Capistrano District. Jennifer also has years of clinical experience working with adults and families in need of mental health in-patient treatment at Western Medical Center Hospital in Anaheim. Furthermore, she provided clinical behavioral counseling in residential group homes, Board and Cares and Room and Boards.
Jennifer has conducted numerous workshops and trainings on various special education topics with an emphasis on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She has also volunteered her time at parent and community speaking engagements for Palmdale School District Early Childhood programs – Head Start, Club 21 (Learning & Resource Center for individuals with Down syndrome), as well as other professional trainings at The Help Group campus.
Jennifer has served an array of clients working for a Non-Public Agency at various school districts, including Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), Simi Valley Unified School District (SVUSD), La Canada Unified School District (LCUSD), Beverly Hills Unified School District (BHUSD), Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District (SMMUSD), Glendale Unified School District (GUSD), Burbank Unified School District (BUSD) and Torrance Unified School District (TUSD)
Jennifer has also served clients at a number of private pre-schools throughout Pasadena, Los Angeles, Santa Monica and West Hollywood. She has been an assigned Independent Educational Evaluator (IEE) for LAUSD SELPA and Santa Barbara County SELPA. She has conducted many IEE Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) for LAUSD.
Jennifer has also worked closely with Regional Centers while serving clients with developmental disabilities through a Non-Public Agency (NPA). Some of the Regional Centers she has worked with are Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center (FDLRC), North LA County Regional Center (NLACRC), Westside Regional Center (WRC), Tri-Counties Regional Center (TCRC) and Harbor Regional Center (HRC).
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys exercising, hosting get-togethers, being an emphatic New England Patriots fan and spending time with her family. One of her favorite leisure activities is to travel to different countries and explore diverse places and cultures. Jennifer has visited several regions of the Caribbean, Mexico, Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Central America, South America and French Polynesia.
